Epimediums

Epimedium species nova Yunnan

We have two yellow flowered plants under this name. One we have had for quite a few years came from the Europa Nursery, which has long since ceased trading. A more recent addition is one from Desirable Plants. I have come across the name Epimedium yunnanense, but have not seen a description or know whether that or the ‘species Yunnan’ are verified species.  Both our plants are evergreen and medium sized, growing to 18 inches or so. Unfortunately I think all the pictures below are of the Desirable Plants specimen.
