Description – This is a medium sized evergreen hybrid, raised by Julian Sutton of Desirable Plants. Julian crossed E. pinnatum subs. colchicum with E. flavum, to produce this bright spring flowering plant which carries yellow flowers, held well above the leaves and with a slight touch of red on the top of the inner sepals. This is a recent release by Desirable Plants, which deserves to sell well. It produces more flowers than most E. pinnatum and perralderianum hybrids. We have been impressed with this for a couple of years now.
