Epimediums

Description –   This is an attractive pink flowered, medium sized, evergreen hybrid raised by Robin White of Blackthorn Nursery, which is sadly, no longer open.  This is a result of crossing E. leptorrhizum with E. pubescens. The flowers are small tending towards E. pubescens whilst E leptorrhizum gives the pink colour. We were not terribly impressed with this one initially, as it seemed a bit weak growing. However, this spring (2015) a newly planted strong specimen really impressed us with its flower power.
