Epimedium 'Never The Red Rooster'

Description –   This is a medium sized evergreen hybrid of E. fargesii, which we bought from Desirable Plants. It is in effect a red flowered version of that species, with wider leaves. it is probably a cross between E. fargesii and a red purple E.  grandiflorum, to give the rich colour to the flowers. We have only had this since the spring (2015), so it’s too early to fully appraise its value as a garden plant, eventual size, etc. The flowers have been only medium size so far.
