Description – This is a small sized evergreen hybrid, raised in America, from E. x setosum being crossed with E. davidii. I was intrigued by this odd combination of parents, and very much looking forward to it flowering. I was a little disappointed when it did, as it was a bit like a poor E. davidii. However it was its first flowering and if in future years (2015), it produces masses of flowers, I might be more impressed.
